I would like to know where Minto park located in Kolkata? and also want to confirm that is there any road name "Sarat Bose Road" near by Minto park.
My last question is what is the easiest way to commute from Airport to Minto park?..

*Another name of Minto Park is Shahid Bhagat Singh Udyan.



*Take a cab from Airport and tell the driver to take you there. It's a well known place, he should know the direction. If not, go in this direction:

Airport- VIP Road- Ultadanga- EM Bypass- Parama island- JBS Halden Avenue- Park circus (Drive should know this place)- Circus Avenue (Don't take the flyover)- Minto Park.

Opposite of Minto Park, there is a road named Sarat Bose Road.



*If you want to take public transport system:

Take Em Bypass- bound bus (ask if going to Parama island) and land there, Then take Auto- rickshaw or bus (if available, obviously after asking other people) for Park circus. After that, take a bus again if the last commuting vehicle does bot go up to Minto Park.



*Another route: Take bus (routes are 237, 46 etc) up to Girish Park. Catch metro train go to Rabindra Sadan. Then just walk towards Minto park/ Gorky Sadan.



*Whenever in trouble in finding destination or route, ask any local people.

*From Airport- Minto Park in a cab will cost you rs. 300 (at least, I think as its longer than 15 km).

The road connects AJC Bose Road (Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose Road to Golpark is called Sarat Bose Road. To give you direction from Airport - Take VIP Road (Kaji Najrul Islam Sarani) move towards Ultadanga, take EM Bypass go up to Science City - turn right - keep going and cross no. 4 Bridge - go up to Tapsia Police station - do not turn left - move straight - cross Saiyad Amir Ali avenue - move on till next crossing - take left - do not climb on the fly over - go through the left side of the flyover - -- you will reach Beckbagan -- keep moving below the flyover -- next major intersection is called Minto Park. Actually the park is after you cross the intersection and look towards right - however the intersection is popular with the name Minto Park.



Easiest way would certainly be TAXI. Fare would be around Rs. 175/-
